Top Picks from the Dôen Snow Day Sale
A rare chance for up to 50% off my favourite brand.
Since discovering Dôen earlier this year I’ve been well and truly hooked. Trouble is, it’s a just a little above my price range to be shopping there regularly. Just a few times a year however, they run a sale, and when they do, the discounts are usually 50% off.
Today is the day and their Winter sale has some amazing pieces up for grabs. If you’re on a no-buy this month or this year, you might want to skip this one. Alternatively, if you choose to shop smart and use the sales to your advantage, read on.
These are my top picks from the Dôen ‘Snow Day’ Sale.
Clifton Jacket
100% wool and 50% off. This is a classic shirt/jacket hybrid (‘shacket’ if you will) in a timeless plaid. I particularly love the subtle herringbone texture and faux-horn buttons. It’s all in the details. Shop here.
Wayfarer Coat
I bought this in the last Dôen sale and I’ve worn it all season long! It’s fantastic - a deep rich navy and surprisingly warm. It’s 90% wool/cashmere and has a slightly retro 60’s fit. If in between sizes, or wanting to layer thick sweaters underneath, you’d be best sizing up. I took a size medium for reference. Shop here.
Cartwright Sweater
100% cashmere, a classic that will be in your wardrobe forever - if you treat it right. I particularly love the ribbing along the neckline and hem. A true wardrobe staple. Shop here.
Vivelle Cardigan
This one has been on my wishlist for a while now - very jealous of those of you who aren’t on a no - buy! I’d be snapping this up if I wasn’t. 70% wool and 30% cashmere, I love the cropped, feminine fit. This would be perfect for layering over dresses come Spring. Shop here.
Norwood Sweater
If you’ve watched me for any length of time you know I can’t resist a cotton sweater. There’s something so comforting and homely about them. I love how non-scratchy they are whilst still keeping you snuggly and warm. This is another piece I bought last time Dôen had their sale and I’m not kidding you when I say, I must have worn 50 times at least since. It’s kind of like an extension of me now… Shop here.
Rosenda Dress
Another one I personally own (sorry - I did say I was a Dôen fan). If you like feminine, romantic dresses this one is a must. The fit is beautiful and those ‘bracelet sleeves’ (a term I learnt from a subscriber!) are perfect for highlighting your delicate wrists and heirloom jewellery. Shop here.
Marielle Dress
Farmer chic - but in that effortless Dôen way. Cut perfectly for a feminine shape - this is one of things I appreciate most about so many of Dôen’s items. Layer with a knitted gilet in the winter and wear casually with sandals and a basket bag come Spring. Shop here.
