We’re almost half way through January which means many of us are half way through our first (only?) no-buy month of 2025.
How’s it going? Who’s broken their no-buy already? January is a hard month to get through when you are allowed to shop, never mind on a no-buy, so no judgement here if you’ve succumbed to some retail therapy just to get by.
I’ve had YouTube holding me accountable (there’s nothing like announcing your goals to the world to get you to stick to them) so no purchases yet, althoughhhh that doesn’t mean I haven’t been scrolling.
It’s also my 30th birthday at the end of the month, and I am allowing myself to buy a ‘to me, from me’ gift (you only turn 30th once right?!) which means of course I’ve been scheming and wish-listing in preparation for that.
If you’re interested, nosy, or need some inspiration for what to buy once this long old month is over, here’s everything currently sitting on my 2025 wardrobe wish-list.
1. A.P.C Grace Bag in Pink

A pink bag is definitely top of my wish-list radar right now. I love pink and don’t have enough of it in my wardrobe. Along with green, and burgundy, it’s one of my favourite colours. I’ve admired the A.P.C Grace Bag for years now, and stumbling across this pink version recently, knew it was the one for me. It’s is the exact shade of pink I’ve been looking for, without really knowing it. Most of the pink bags on the market are either very pale pink, or bright fuchsia, this one on the other hand is the perfect, rosy, slightly peachy shade of mid-pink. Currently 20% of the A.P.C website, too. Shop here.
2. Fauvette Rosie Bag in Navy

I know, I know - another bag! I can’t get enough. This bag is gorgeous and navy is another colour I love to wear and don’t have any accessories in. It does come in burgundy as well, but I need a hole in the head before I need another burgundy bag. Fauvette was one of my favourite brand discoveries of 2024 and I just love everything they put out. Made in France, in small quantities, they encapsulate everything I love about Parisian fashion. As a side note, I do have a 10% off coupon you can use if you want to order a Fauvette bag yourself. I already own the Adele Bag, and can highly recommend that one too. My code for 10% off is KATIELOUISE.
3. Ami Paris Belted Trench

Another navy piece is this stunning belted trench from Ami Paris. Another Parisian brand I’ve been dying to try. I love every detail on this - the corduroy collar, the longline length (it’s a unisex fit, so you know it’ll be nice and relaxed) and the thick, adjustable belt. It’s trench coat perfect. It’s also 50% off currently - gulp. This is definitely a strong contender for my ‘to me, from me’ gift. Shop here.
4. Christy Dawn Emma Dress

Dreaming of summer in, ahem, January - but who can blame me? Christy Dawn is a new brand obsession for me, after following them for 3 years I finally made my first purchase back in December and safe to say, I’m hooked. This blue Emma dress is next on my wish-list. I love the lace trim and tiers on the skirt, coupled with the stunning trellis pattern. I can’t wait to be flouncing around the English countryside in this from May - September. Shop here.
5. Dôen Ischia Dress in Salt

No one makes a ‘forever dress’ quite like Dôen. Everything about this dress is just how I’d design it - the puff sleeves, the neckline, the shirred waist and the floaty, effortless skirt. This is another no-brainer for my wardrobe. I’d wear this for the rest of my life. Shop here.
6. Loeffler Randall Julietta Top

A brand I don’t hear talked about much (unless it’s their shoes) is Loeffler Randall. I love some of their ready-to-wear pieces though. It’s a similar vibe to Damson Madder, but prettier and more feminine, in my opinion. They have some gorgeous gingham pieces at the moment as this gathered, peplum top particularly spoke to me. It’s also in the sale! Gosh darn-it January sales and no buy challenges… Shop here.
That’s everything on my 2025 wish-list atm! What’s on yours? Ooh and which piece do you think I should treat myself to for my 30th? I’d love to know.
Some really lovely, considered choices. I am allowing myself one bag this year and I think the Fauvette Rosie is high on the list as well!
Some lovely choices….if it was me I would choose one of the summer dresses. You have quite a few handbags and coats, besides…what better way to chase away the winter blues than thinking ahead to warmer weather! If you really want the pink bag, perhaps consider selling one of your other bags? Same with the coat. Always remember your lifestyle….working from home…how many coats and handbags do you need? (I’m playing devils advocate) Nothing purchased for me…I’m doing a year long replacements only no-buy. So unless tragedy strikes and I ruin/lose or break something (or use it up if it’s skincare/makeup) then I’m not buying a thing.
