Everything I wanted to buy in February (but didn't)
The items I've been resisting all month. If you're also on a low-buy, read with caution.
1. Sekonda Watch (aka the Cartier dupe)

If you read my latest Substack post all about my low-buy wishlist, you’ll know that a Cartier watch would be a dream purchase for me. Until that day happens, this Sekonda Watch comes in at around £50 (compared to £3150 for the cheapest Cartier) and bears a rather striking resemblance to the Cartier Panthère. It also comes in gold and a two-tone version as well. Wearing this for a year would be a great way to test out the style and you never know, I may decide that I don’t actually need the ‘real’ thing.
2. Sau Lee Bag

I’m on the hunt for a dress for a black-tie event I have coming up, and during that hunt stumbled across the brand Sau Lee. From there, I discovered this bag from them and well, it was love at first sight. How beautiful are all three of these limited edition prints?? The one thing that stopped me from pulling the trigger on this bag is that I simply cannot pick just one. They are all so gorgeous. The red especially has my heart.
3. Danae Necklace

I already own the yellow version of this Sézane Danae Necklace and I. love. it. Do I need another colour? Probably not. But this vintage blue version (which looks more green to me) is to die for. A great statement piece to wear this Spring with a simple white shirt.
4. New Sézane Jeans

Sticking with Sézane, last Sunday they sneakily released a new style of denim. Usually I avoid Sézane denim, it’s either too long or without elastane, so has pretty much no chance of fitting me properly. This style however, caught my attention. It’s slightly cropped, and with that all important 1% elastane, is it too much to hope that these might actually work on curvy bodies?? Full transparency, I have ordered these to try so watch my YouTube channel for an upcoming review.
5. Rouje Parisienne Pumps

I’m not the biggest fan of the mesh shoe trend, but I can definitely get onboard with this version from Rouje. Polka dot mesh, with a small heel, I have my eye on these for Spring.
6. Toteme Car Coat

If you follow me on YouTube, you’ll know I recently did a declutter of my coats and pretty much sold every camel-toned, brown coat I owned. It’s a shade that doesn’t suit me, unfortunately, I wish it did. From now on, if I want to purchase anything brown, I need to go for a more chocolatey, darker tone. This Chocolate Brown Car Coat from Toteme, is the perfect example. The fact that Sophia Richie was seen wearing it AND it’s currently on sale isn’t swaying me, I promise…
The new Sezane jeans are a great find! I'm 5'2" and am always on the hunt for shorter inseams - would love to know your thoughts once you try it!
